Posting to Participants - July 1st 2008
Dear participants of the 10th ESCON Transfer of Knowledge
Conference,
we are glad to inform you that the 10th ESCON TKC Conference
website, in
which you can find all the information concerning the Conference,
is now
available at the following link:
http://dpss.psy.unipd.it/escon2008/
The website will be updated constantly, so please check it at
your
convenience.
As you probably may know the entire Conference is sponsored and
financed
by the European Science Foundation (ESF) for the European
participants and
by the National Science Foundation for the US participants. The ESF
and
NSF financial support covers your accommodation, all meals during
the
event as well as transportation between SIAF and Pisa Airport (see
“travel
information” for further details), but it does not cover travel
expenses
from your home town to Pisa Airport (with the exception of the
Steering
Committee members, the plenary speakers and the American
participants
whose travel is funded by NSF).
The campus in which the Conference will be held offers 55 single
rooms and
37 double rooms in which you will be accommodated. Doctoral
students will
be accommodated in double rooms.
In order to meet your needs and to organize accommodation and
meals in
line with your wishes, please let us know the following information
by
July 13th, by simply sending a message to escon2008@psy.unipd.it
.
1) If you want to share rooms with a specific participant of
the
conference, please, indicate both your own and the other person's
name. We
will do our best to satisfy the requests we receive by July
13th.
2) If you have a disability or any specific dietary
requirements, please
let us know.
If we do not receive a message from you by July 13th, we will
assume that
you have no specific requests regarding accommodation or food. If
you may
have any further questions, please do not hesitate to email
