Events for 2008:
In 2008 the Annual Transfer of Knowledge Conference will
take place in Volterra, a beautiful town in the heart Tuscany, from
September 3 through 7, 2008. (See Conference
website).
The Expert Meeting entitled “Spatial Representation and
Social Cognition” will be held in 2008 in Venice, Italy. This
meeting is co-organized by Prof. Anne Maass (Università di Padova,
Italy) and Dr. Thomas Schubert (Free University Amsterdam, the
Netherlands).
The Expert Meeting entitled “Relational models and the
constitution of intergroup relations: Embodied cognition and
emotion” will be held Portugal in 2008. This meeting is organized
by Dr. Sven Waldzus (ISCTE, Lisbon) and Dr. Beate Seibt (Utrecht
University, the Netherlands).
The Expert Meeting entitled “A Social Neuroscience
approach to Social Cognition” will be held in Ghent, Belgium, in
May 2008. This meeting is organized by Prof. Frank Van Overwalle
(Vrije Universiteit Brussel)
The Expert Meeting entitled “The role of language,
cognition and culture in maintaining gender stereotypes: A European
perspective” will be held in Berlin, Germany, in 2008. This meeting
is co-organized by Prof. Dr. Ute Gabriel (NorwegianUniversity of
Science and Technology, Norway), Dr. Lisa Irmen (University of
Heidelberg, Germany), and Prof. Dr. Sabine Sczesny (University of
Bern, Switzerland).
Events for 2007:
Czech Republic TKC:
In 2007 the annual Transfer of Knowledge Conference will be
held in the city of Brno, the second largest city in the Czech
Republic. The conference dates are September 5th - 9th. Please see

The Expert Meeting titled "Grounding Sociality: Neurons,
Minds and Culture" will be held in September 2007. This meeting is
co-organized by Prof. Gün Semin (Free University Amsterdam,
Netherlands) and Dr. Gerald Echterhoff (University of Bielefeld,
Germany).
The Expert Meeting titled " Social Cognition and Social
Rationality: How Environmental Problem Structures Constrain
Judgment and Decision Making" will also be held in 2007. This
meeting is co-organized by Prof. Klaus Fiedler and Dr. Peter
Freytag (University of Heidelberg, Germany).
Events for 2006:
Poland
TKC: In 2006 the annual Transfer of Knowledge Conference
will be held in the Polonia House Castle in Pultusk
(approx. 50 minutes from Warsaw). The conferences dates are
Wednesday (September, 6th - arrival day) till Sunday (September,
10th - departure day).
The Expert Meeting titled "The Role of Self-Other Overlap
in Imitation and Agency Processing" will be held in 2006. This
meeting is organized by Dr. Rick van Baaren, University of
Amsterdam.
